Looking for a cheap rear wheel with a Campy free hub to use on the turbo trainer...
It needs to be able to take an 11sp cassette
    Thanks

    Hey,
I have a rear wheel here, it has a campag 10 speed cassette on it, not sure if it will take 11 but I'd imagine that most campag wheels would take 11 as there 11s for a long time, free hub sticks every now and then when your freewheeling, I'd say a bit of a oil/grease up would sort it, where about a are you ? We could try your 11speed on it if we meet up and see if it works, it's fitted with Tacx skewer and road tyre and tube at the moment €50 if we can meet up somewhere over holidays and collect it
    Cheers zip

Sorry Zip, I only see this now...
Would you have a few good pics of the wheel and all the rest, since I can't inspect it?
    Thanks

Come on lads, possible that no one has a rear wheel in the shed he wants to get rid of?
I hope Zippe is fine. He disappeared...

I will have a Miche Carbon Wheel that is starting to disintegrate - The carbon is starting to fail, The hub is fine. Was running it with 11speed.
Tubular rim and has a Conti high end tub glued.
    Was gonna.
    Any use to you?

    Hey,

I'm still here !! I thought I was waiting for you to get back to me !! Not to worry, I still have that wheel if you want it, as I said, free hub sticks every now and then when your free wheeling, it's fitted with a 10 speed campag cassette at the moment and tyre and tube, biggest prob is logistics, getting it to you will cost, see if something comes up beside you if not come back to me

    Cheers zip

Thanks , but carbon that's starting falling apart doesn't really sound very appealing. I have an alexrim and I might be interested in the hub. I take it it's a campag free hub able to take at least a 10sp cassette?
    Thanks

Sorry Zippe, there might have been a misunderstanding. I am still waiting for the pictures you said you would send on...
I am still interested, but I'd like to see the wheel first.
    Thank you

Yep will take a 10sp cassette.
As for the carbon starting to fail... Well I am still using the wheel but this mornings soon will probably be its last as I was just waiting for a new wheel to arrive. Spoke count is 24 hole. Hub is black.

I have an old RD80 with campy freehub sitting in the shed, it currently has a 10 speed BBB cassette on it, old enough wheel so doubt it would take 11. Yours for the bargain price of free if you want it, though feel free to chuck a few bob to the Simon community if it proves of any value.
