Is it just me or has RTE 2FM turned into Spin 1038? Maybe it was when I tuned in, during the afternoon, I had to check I wasn't listening to Spin 1038. All the southsider accents and talking crap between each other? Just found it a bit odd.

It has been a bad spin/Iradio hybrid for a while now which has resulted in the lowest ratings ever in the stations history

Capital FM in the UK I think would bring back to listeners I dunno 2FM is just a disaster, they should change the name its just not appealing to anyone. Ever give it a modern twist or some and call it 'Two' or 'Two Radio' or even a different name, 2FM sounds like something the 70s forgot.

The 2FM name is far, far from the root of or solution to the station's problems.

That's been the agenda now since 2013. Aiming at the younger/15-34 market.

How well has this been advertised?

There are a lot of iRadio or Spin103 connections starting with Dan Healy himself (iRadio).

    Then you have:
Keith Walsh - Spin103 and iRadio
    Bernard O'Shea - iRadio
    Tracey Clifford - Spin103
Chris (Greene) and Ciara (King) - iRadio
    Louise McSharry - iRadio
    Eoghan McDermott - Spin103

That is quite a significant proportion of the presenters and they are all on weekdays.

Aren't Spin and iRadio doing well in terms of listeners and isn't 2fm meant to be a youth station?
