That looks way more interesting than Dunkirk.

June 30th seems to have been release date for this. Not seeing it listed around the place, though.

Berlin be the flavor of the moment to film in at the moment with this, Atomic Blonde & The Berlin Station on tv.

Can't make my mind up between this and the Dunkirk trailer, which one I prefer...

    Looks good anyway.

Read the book by Hans Falata if I recall correctly.
    An excellent read.

why the late release?, this is out in DVD in the US already. It shouldn't be compared to Dunkirk though, Alone in Berlin is more of a police thriller and not really a war movie.

Read it too and really enjoyed it but also found it quite claustrophobic or something. Got really immersed in it. Looking forward to this.

I thought the movie wasn't really that good at all, was very disappointed with it.

Did you see it in a cinema? I'm a bit confused as Kermode review it on Friday and I'd have thought the Irish cinema schedule would be more or less in sync with the UK. Can't see it on entertainment.ie, Cineworld or Movies@ places.

There are copies of it out there on the WWW in one form or another as it was released last year in Germany and in the US in January this year.

I enjoyed it, pretty understated. The smarter detective was a little Hercule Poirot overall and compared to his hotheaded colleague. Thompson and Gleeson worked well together, naturally.
