Hi folks. I have few questions. I'm in not good situation at the moment.

I have a girlfriend. She is 30y old. She is studying fulltime in College. She gets every week 111euro from social welfare as student grant.

She works part time in a shop few hours a week. She get now 110euro a week, but from next week she will be getting only 40euro a week from a part time job.

We have a 4,5y old daughter. She is attending a private creche for a 90euro a week. And another baby coming in 4 months

I'm working full time job, and getting 430euro flat rate every week. But Ive got an accident last year, so I decided to do the surgery to my knee. I paid myself 2400euro.
I applied for social welfare sick cert. But I'm still waiting for any payment.

So I'm not getting any money from work or welfare.

We have to pay every month a 325euro rent for the house (we are renting with our parents - 2 persons) we pai 650 together, but as a family we pay 325euro for rent.

We have to pay bills for gas and electricity every month arround 50euro each.

    So our payments are:
    Rent - 325e
    Gas+Electricity Bills - 100e
    Creche - 90e
Medical expenses - 140euro per month

    Our Income will be:
    Sick cert - 188euro
    work - 40euro

Do we have any chance for the time when I'm on sick cert to get any rent supplement or anything to help us to pay bills etc? We have to drive every week 1-2 times to hospital so the petrol cost us arround 40-50euro a week extra.

    thanks for help

If you are in full time employment you aren't eligible for rent allowance. Maybe contact the community welfare officer to ask for a payment while you wait for your illness payment to come through.
