    Hi All,

We dont really contribute to the site however, any advice would be very useful at this time.

3 Years ago, my wife was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease SLE / Lupus. As you may or may not be aware it can be a daily struggle in terms of dealing with it both physically and emotionally. We were wondering if there are others out there with a similar condition and are you basically able to lead a normal life.

My wife has seen numerous so call specialists to no avail, her quality of life has diminished since her diagnosis and we are at our wits end trying to find ways to alleviate the situation. From our own experience there does not seem to be much awareness of lupus, nor do the specialists offer any solid remedies.

We would love to hear your story....

Hi! I am sorry to see nobody answered your post. I am not diagnosed with lupus so, my answer will probably be of little use to you, but maybe by updating the posts, it might get some answers.
The reason why I searched lupus is because it is in the possibilities for my ill health. I dont know where to turn anymore, have had countless tests and only thing is a small vit d deficiency but it doesnt explain the extent of my symptoms. Seeing a dermatologist in 6 weeks, of my own initiative, I feel it's a struggle to get doctors to look for an answer.
Wishing you and your wife all the best.
