Wages paid into Closed AIB account

Hi All. I just started a new job my wages were due to be paid today. I havent used the bank account in quiet awhile and AIB have closed the account without me knowing. Can anyone tell me what will happen the money now will it be returned to my employer so I can get it paid again into a new account ?

if the account is closed the wages will bounce back to your employer. it may take a day or two depending on who your employer banks with. let your payroll department know so they can keep an eye out for it.
