Question about a "High Graphite" Fly fishing rod

    First cast in this forum!

I have a three piece fly fishing rod marked as follows:
Warnants Dublin High Graphite 11ft .
Its a three piece and my guess its a fly fishing rod.

Its brand new, never been wet, and the current owner probably has it 30+ years.

Am wondering what the High Graphite means and is it of any value when compared to what is available now.

    Thanks as always

High graphite reflects the carbon content in the rod.
Warnants still exist and still seem to do wholesale tackle. Give them a ring and I'm sure they'll fill you in.
LJ Warnants & Co Ltd tel: 4500551
    btw.....€250 seems a bit steep

Thanks, that number does not ring so I think they are gone.
Agreed re the 250, in adverts you can only drop the price unless you want to redo the advert: its now at 50
    Thanks again.
