12v TV. for a camper.

Can i ask some of you knowledgeable gents,

Can i buy a small flatscreen 12 volt TV for my camper, rather

than buying an inverter to run my existing 220v set.

You can probably adapt any low voltage tv with an external power supply to run gently on 12V with the right DC switching converter and socket.

Unless frequency or induction are requirements of the camper I think not using inverters is the best way to go.

A few pc monitors use 12v - might need to make up something to protect them from spikes n stuff though
