Just a quick question.....we've checked in online and have our printed boarding passes for our Lanzarote flight from Cork. We've only carry-on bags (for the first time) so I'm assuming we arrive and can walk straight to the security gate? And assuming that's the case, what time do we really need to arrive before our flight? Thanks in advance for advice.

Aim to be at your gate at least 30 mins prior to departure time.

Add 10 mins for security and 10 mins to get to the gate.

I travel from Dublin and am unfamiliar with Cork airport but I usually hit the airport about an hour prior to departure time and never have any problems.

Security is always the big unknown so worth getting fast track if you can..

Many thanks, we'll aim for an hour and a half to be sure, to be sure.
I'd rather be bored waiting at the departure gate than scrambling out of the shuttle bus shouting at each other lol !
Again, thanks for the advice. Happy Christmas!
