    Hi,

I just got the new Hub 3 and everything seems to be working fine except my Nest Thermostat.
I have done some googling and it appears to be an issue with the firewall on the Hub 3.

A solution is to contact Virgin and get ports: 9543, 11095, 80, and 443 opened up then your NEST should work.

Can reps please confirm and can i get this done to mine please?

    Thanks,

    Gar

    No issue here with it.

If you want the reps you mean here.

I wouldnt be surprised if you're on an IPv6 address and CGN. This would have a similar impact as an overly zealous firewall. The reps can put you back on a working, proper, v4 address.

    hmm

    strange.

I have changed the security settings to WPA2 only.
The SSID is the same for both frequencies.

i tried disabling the firewall and that made no difference.

Its a gen 3 nest too.

Can i ask what settings you have or did you have to do anything?

    Thanks,

    Gar

I think im on a IPv4 address as the IPv6 test webpage failed and the IPv4 one opens up...
