Dealing with dealers

Hi lads, I was looking for to get my first car and went to 3 different dealers because I'd settled on a model and they had it used. However every one of them didn't have the car on display available they were out with a customer and were only available the next day but I live out in the sticks unfortunately. It sounded like they sent them out to cover vehicles in for servicing.

Is there any particular trick to dealing with this because living an hour away from any dealers makes it a bit of a pain to travel.

Call them and make sure it's in stock before you go. If it was me though I would look at their stock list and have 3 in mind that you enquire about, see all are in stock, if the dealer knows your travelling for an hour to see 1 car they will have you eating out of their hand to buy it.

Search suitable cars and call seller saying you want to view. Arrange time to suit both parties.

If you don't mind me saying, you sound a little inexperienced in this area so feel free to post links to cars you're looking at.

Like in any business or service there are good car dealers and there are bad car dealers.
