Hi all. Just back from working oversees. Was just curious, does cabling in escape routes have to be fixed to the fabric of building. I know fire alarm does, but what about other services.

    Thanks

Do you mean fixed to the fabric of the building vs in containment?

If you mean clipped then no other services are not as limited .

Although a fire alarm cable can only be clipped if it's a max of two cables.

You can have it on a dedicated tray, steel conduit or its own compartment in a dedicated multiple compartment tray or trunking.

I've to add a few bits. I'm fitting mini trunking for aesthetic purposes and p clipping in the trunking. I've to now add a second trunking for an additional emergency bulkhead and was wondering does it have to be p clipped also.
