One of my back teeth is missing a corner on the inside of the mouth. One dentist just put in a filling a left the corner of the tooth missing. The Last dentist put a little frame around it and built it back up with filling. It has now wore down and needs to be redone?

Would a crown be a better option here? The rest of the tooth is fine apart from that one corner.

Your dentist will advise you more accurately.
Depends on how frequently & to what extent the filling is wearing down&/dislodging, the size& depth of the filling, your bite, ect

Well it is little difficult to give an accurate advise without seeing the condition of teeth but I would recommend you to consult with only one doctor instead of getting treatment from different dentists.
    Thanks!!
