    Hi Everyone

I am international student at WIT and am bit confused in grading system. Can I know what is passing criteria for exams?

Do we need to take 40% overall in module means CA+Exam or do we have to take 40% solely in exam and then 40% in overall module and then we are considered pass?

do we really need to take 40% in exam to pass the module?

Hi, you should really ask your course leader this question.

Some WIT modules require you to get over 40% to pass, and you can have a failed component (for example getting 10% in a small piece of CA that might be 20% of the overall assessment for the module). Some programmes have specific rules that require students to pass every element of each module (so they do not allow failed components)- on your transcripts this appears as FC (for failed component). So ask your course leader about the specific failed component approach for your course.
