Advice please - do I qualify for Jobseekers Benefit?

    Hi,

    I finished a Job Bridge placement in May and then I claimed Jobseekers Benefit for five weeks which was the amount of time I had left on my claim when I started Job Bridge. I did not qualify for Jobseekers Allowance.

    I have been working full time since 26th September and my job is due to finish this Friday so that will be 12 weeks I have worked. Am I right in thinking I am one week short to qualify for Jobseekers Benefit again?

    Yes you need 13 A class contributions to requalify for jb.
