I'm not fashionable by any stretch of the imagination and I hate shopping so getting stylish clothes never really happens for me. I'm not looking for cutting edge fashion or clothes that would stand out. Just a solid 'going out' outfit for when heading out for drinks/club.

I'm 5ft10ish and very slim. Ideally would be looking for around the H&M price range. Would anyone be able to suggest jeans/top/shoes combination that would be good?

Slim or skinny grey or navy/indigo jeans would probably suit your frame with maybe desert shoes or boots. Maybe try Chelsea boots if looking to go a bit dapper. A nice long sleeved slim fit shirt or teeshirt with fitted blazer would look really smart. Alternatively leave out the blazer and wear a nice biker style leather jacket for a more casual look!

I think that would look nice and not come across as trying too hard!

there are probably a million videos like this but seems to have the basic principles right, even suggests that H&M and Zara should be your go to places for affordable fashions. Essentially a long winded video of clothes should fit, nothing should be baggy

By all means make the effort but remember, go too far and you'll end up looking like a Parisian metrosexual!

Ah ye I'm aware of that. Don't want anything too fancy at all. No high end fashion .

Basically check on river Island, H&M and Topman. Chose clothes you like and try to go with colours that work well together.
If your slim go slim or skinny fit, not tight just so that it does look like your swimming in clothes.
Avoid anything neon or bright colours.

Look on MFA (Male Fashion Advice) Reddit and watch videos by TheGentlemansCove, AlphaM,RealMenRealStyle, JairWoo depending on your age, dress sense etc.

And just keep it simple. If it fits and it's simple then your good to go

How old are you? Those shoes would look a bit naff on 20 year old but might appropriate for an older man imo.

Main thing is make sure your clothes fit well and learn some basic colour coordination.
