    Hi All,

Looking to get a solid slab of stone for under wood burning stove.
Can anyone recommend a place to source?
I'd imagine it would be a slab of Limestone cut to size - rustic effect.
The likes of hearth and home dont seem to do them.

    Thanks,

    Woy

We found Robinson Stone in the Malahide Road Industrial estate very good for all things stove and fireplace related.

God this might sound odd but we got ours off headstone sellers/monuments guys. They had a piece of granite that got marked so they couldn't use it. Worked out a LOT cheaper!! We just had to put the marked one face down and worked perfect.

Ha, nice. That's a good story. I imagine that's polished. Did you put a sealer on it. If you did where did you get it.
