Looking for some advise as my horse has started itching his muzzle over the last while with some hair loss. Any idea's what this could be or what to use on it.

    Thanks

Bots, allergies, a bite, sore teeth, sinus problems. There's a whole range of issues that could be at fault. Is her worming up to date? Has she had her teeth done recently? Is she ridden and does she headshake if so? Is she out at grass? To be honest, if it's not worms or teeth, I would be calling the vet if you're worried. Is it definitely itching that's causing the hair loss? Is the bald patch scaley at all?

His worming is up to date and teeth done in Aug. No headshaking when ridden and he is out in the field for a few hours each day. The bald patch is growing back and no scabs or anything, the whiskers are growing back white.
