Anybody know how to get at the motor on an old Bosch maxx? Stopped spinning there this morning but drains ok, I suspect its the brushes but the back panel doesn't seem to be removable on this model. The back and sides are one piece.

If you can tip it on its side you can take the bottom panel off, where you can get at the motor and replace the brushes.

I was thinking that, would it be best to remove the weight or is it OK to tip as is?

Carefully place it as it is.

Took the brushes out but they look. Any way to test the motor?

if the brushes are down to approx. 1/4 inch in length they need replacing, ideally you need a meter to check the continuity of the windings, make sure you cable tie the loom when re assembling
