Has anyone got any experience of using altitude training masks? They limit the amount of oxygen that you breathe in simulating altitude training apparently.

I'm doing my last ever marathon in April next year and hoping to go out on a personal best-and someone recommended training with one-he swears by it..

They're largely discredited online, so am just looking to hear more personal experiences before I decide to buy myself one for Christmas!

    Thanks,
