    Hi,
I am French and looking for a fixed-term position in Ireland (I live currently in France).  I have a Master Degree in Cultural Heritage Management, and 3-years experience in this field.
I applied in October for a Seasonal Guide position for the Office of Public Work. And I just get an interview invitation in January at Kilkenny Castle !
I would like to have a few tips for this interview (my first in English!), and if possible some feedback experience.
Usually, when does the contract begins and ends (how many months) ?
I am looking forward to go back in Ireland, even if I have never been in Kilkenny !

There are a lot of different contract lengths available. Some might be as short as 3 months, some as long as 10 months. It will depend on your availability as well as what time of year Kilkenny Castle needs extra staff.

The interview will ask about your relevant skills and knowledge from your experience and education. Both in a general way about tour guiding and heritage management; and in a specific way about Irish history and Kilkenny Castle.
