hours of lectures

Hello, My son is studying in Trinity at the moment. He got his hours for the next semester and one of his lectures is due to start at 23.00 and finishes at 01.00 am. I was shocked at this and was thinking it must be a misprint. How do they expect students get home from these lectures?
