Apologies for the delay in posting this. Things got in the way... Sorry!

The theme for this challenge is moments.

During the 24 hours of each day we all experience or witness moments, delight, sadness, loss, fun, and exhilaration to mention but a few. Each is unique and when captured can give us some wonderful memories or allow us to relive each moment.

    Some examples include:

The closing date is 2 weeks time - Wednesday 21st December (shortest day) at 6pm. *updated closing date*

Only photos taken with this challenge in mind qualify. Therefore, the photo must be taken between now and the 24th of December.

The photo must be taken by the person submitting it.

Only one photo per post, but submit as many posts as you like.

Be creative - try to come up with an interesting angle

The next task/subject is to be chosen by the person who has the most thanks after their post at the closing date/time.

    Enjoy....

Can I suggest that you delay the closing date by a week- it's open to the challenge setter to do that.

    And

    (1) Nobody is be going to pay attention on 24th and the run up to Christmas is a very busy time for most

    (2) Some 'moments' might appear over the following few days?

    If I may,

perhaps we bring forward the end date to before Christmas eve, and then run an automatic 'Christmas' competition that encompasses Christmas day and the few days after?

This way, we still get the competition for a few days (although I think a few christmas inspired will enter in to it!) and we get a proper Christmas theme for those who wish to partake?

I actually quite like ezra_'s idea that we bring forward the closing date by a few days and then run a special Christmas-themed competition. I had considered using Christmas as the theme for this challenge, but opted not to as I know that Christmas can be a difficult and/or busy time for people, so I thought this 'moments' theme might be a better challenge.

With that in mind, how does 21st December (shortest day!) sound as a new closing date?

Settled into the corner of the sofa, everyone gone to bed. Christmas Jazz on the HiFi, glass of red on the go. Reading a great story - and, er, thoughts of the Photo Challenge.

Thanks for all the thanks guys. I've posted challenge 195 up a few moments ago. Give it a go. Even if its just the reflection part and never get to post the photo.

Happy Christmas to you and all of yours.

    Take care of yourselves.
