Resitting exam(which mark counts)

So I sat an exam nearly a month ago and still haven't received any grade, so since I thought I didn't do well put in a request to resit today and got it. Here's my question suppose my first test marks are higher then the ones I get in the resit. Do I get the highest marks over both CA's.
