    Hello,

Im looking for information regarding to becoming a SAR helicopter pilot as there seems to be very little information online regarding this subject. Im relatively uneducated on this topic so any help would be appreciated.

I know you can take the public route and get a PPL and CPL and take that journey.
I also just found out you can join the air corps and get them to train you in getting all the helicopter criteria.

Basically i want to find out what is the best route to take to becoming a SAR pilot.
I don't know the criteria if they are looking for military experience to become a pilot.

If anyone has any knowledge or point me in the right direction i would be very grateful.
