    21st Dec 23.30

    SKY

    BIKE CHANNEL
    ITERA Expedition Race
    Premiere: 11/12/2016 19:30
    Re-run:12/12/2016 07:30

Hopefully we'll see some people from around these parts on it :) except me, my perfectly executed fall from a cliff wasn't captured by the TV cameras :(

I've seen a mid-production version. It looks great!

Got a chance to watch it last night, it showed Ireland in all it's glory - it should certainly persuade more people to come to the West.

I don't think it showed just how tough the racing conditions were or how hard the race was on the competitors. From the race reports I've read, the howling wind on the mountains and the driving rain on the bike sections made for a mentally tough race. But maybe that wasn't the intent of the documentary.

Yeah was interesting - definitely worth a watch.

You can get it here --> http://www.channel4.com/programmes/triathlon-endurance-events/on-demand/63873-028

All you need to do is register with Channel4 with a random UK postcode, I used BT16 1GF

Edit - quality not brilliant, bit grainy but watchable.
