Looking to pick up a new trailer, single axle, has to be single to stay within the 750kg weight.

Was initially thinking 6*4 but they (nugent)have an 8*4, bit more length would be handy for sheets and longer stuff..

Anyone use an 8*4 single axle before, won't be carrying anything heavy its more for room, but would an 8*4 single be awkward, I've never seen one before..

Yeah I ve seen and used one, never had any probs with it just looks more awkward when ya see it first.
Will have to invest in one myself although I'm thinking 6x4 and use the dbl/axle for the tractor.
Loads of 8x4 single axles on done deal.

A longer one you'd think would be easier to manage for reversing etc? Depends on position of axle I suppose

Nugent do 6x4 and 8x4 single axle with brakes that are 1400kg gross weight which depending on what it's being towed with can be used without a BE licence if that's what is limiting you to 750kg

    We have a nugent .I think its 7 x 4 I'll have to check.
very fond of it super trailer .I also have a twin axle 8 x 4 but I rarely use .
You wouldnt know the single axle was behind you when towing.

Are they bouncy ? Only ever worked with bigger twin axel trailers here and thirsty jeeps, often wondered about something like a 7x4 behind the car, and the associated fuel savings
