    Hi.
I'm in an awful hole right now can anyone please help.

I owed the revenue €5500 from when I was self employed in 2010 for 2 years. Our business went burst so I never paid tax. This year I started self employed again and agreed a settlement of €40 a week. But things are very tight at work and I missed payment and now the solicitor have it and are looking for 7800 to be paid in 7 days and I simply have no money to pay them. And it's close to Christmas. I'm Paye as well and it's hard to juggle both. Can anyone help me I'm in dyer straights here.

Phone the collector generals office and explain your situation. Ask them to put a stop on collection on the basis that this is a hardship case.

Thanks for ur reply. I don't get what u mean by a hardship case? Would it make a difference that a payment plan was made and I couldn't even continue with that. It also say on the solicitor letter that not to contact revenue any more that all dealing would be through them.
