I've an email from an unknown email source in my junk box in my business email address, and has what looks, a PDF type file needing downloaded. Im wondering is there anyway of knowing is it a virus or not. Would hate to download it and it messing my phone up .

Almost certainly a virus of some kind, delete it.

Anti-virus will NOT catch everything - any e-mail from an unknown source should be deleted with extreme prejudice.

E-mails from unknown sources WITH attachments should be nuked from orbit.
