Is this weekend (Dec 10/11, 2016) too late to cut/trim a hedge?

Or should I just leave it to the springtime?

    Hedge is Laurel and Griselinia.

    Thanks

I would leave until spring if you don't want a lot of black patches on your leaves.

Wait until late spring and a single cut at trim per year will suffice.

I decided to leave well enough alone - spring won't be long arriving ..;)
