Not sure if this is the right place for this.

I bought the pack of 4 today and when plugged in the blue light on them flashes until you press a button on the remote - this then set that's button (a, b, c, or d) as the on off switch. However one of the sockets in the set when plugged in had a solid blue light and nothing will turn it on or off nor will anything plugged in work. Is it easily rectified? I can just as easily bring it back to the store but it's more trouble than if I can fix at home. It's not a range issue or the room issue either because there's one other one in the same sockets it wouldn't work in and it's working a dream!

While I can't help on the issue - which Aldi did you get these in if you dont mind me asking, been looking for a set myself.

Sure you know this already but I think these work on 433mhz so can be hacked to work with RPI, etc

    Bring them back.

Aldi stuff is cheap but normally works in my experience.
