Hi all, have a mira elite 2, shower is about 10 years old so owes us nothing. TYhe passed week it's started acting up. It's fine when water is turned to cold, and pressure is excellent. However when you start turning it up the water starts pulsing (stopping and starting), the flow also becomes very poor. Have installed new shower head and cleaned out filter, though there did not appear to be anything in it. Any other suggestions as to what it might be before i go forking out for a new one. Cheers

It could be the pump on the way out or the brushes may need changing

The brushes are reasonably easy to check on this model; I changed some on one a couple of months back, the pump was noisy and low pressure, so I'm not sure how that fits in with your symptoms of it being OK on cold. The brushes I got, for a little under €10, needed a little sanding to make them fit. The local hardware shop wanted 36+VAT for 'proper' ones.
