Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this. I'm currently working in Ireland (builder) and want to work in scotland after Christmas. Now lies the problem. I've a final interview for a job in Ireland in February and if I get it I'll be taking it. So what do I need to do to be able to work in scotland. Do I have to get prsi number changed to Scottish equivalent. And how long would it take to change over and then back or is there a other way to go about it. Sorry for long post

Two seperate countries so prsi/national insurance numbers are seperate. Are you leaving Ireland permanently or is it a short term situation.?

You can have a UK NI number without any impact on your Irish PPSN. Many people have both from periods of working in the UK or v/v.
