Trade in value

Searched but couldn't find any similar question posed - apologies if it's been asked before.

First time trading in a car, so bear with me.

Ordered a new car from a dealer in October, there's a lead time of approximately 12-14 weeks on it, so due for delivery towards the end of Jan.

Part of the quotation included the trade-in value on my current car (5 years old, v high mileage).
The salesman did a quick visual inspection, and took if for a quick spin (5 min max) to ensure so obvious problems.
Just wondering, when I arrive to collect the new car (and hand over the payment), what level of inspection are they likely to do on the trade-in car. Similar visual inspection for no change in condition plus a quick spin around, or do they do a more detailed inspection at that point.

No undisclosed issues that I'm aware of with the car - just wary that it'll be approx 5 months since it's last service at that point and I don't want any surprises!

In my experience they will probably just test drive it again to make sure it drives fine or there are knocking sounds, etc. They will probably give the exterior and interior a look over in case they spot something. They always build into the trade-in price the cost of fixing small things like scratches, stone chips, etc as well as maybe an oil and filter change if needed.
