This is a long shot, but I was hoping someone could help!

I'm looking to hire a site for 1 night for a marquee wedding, preferably less than an hour from a southern Irish airport and a short distance from a village or town. I've got two ads on donedeal, have posted on FB (but I don't really know anyone with a field or big enough garden - which is why I'm asking) but no luck so far.

Does anyone have any advice for me about how to find someone with land - possibly a farmer? - that would be up for renting a field for a night? I'd handle all the logistics (ie portaloos, marquee company etc) myself, it's just the hire of the site that's foxing me.

I'm sure any regular farmer or landowner wouldnt want the hassle. What about insurance if someone injures themselves etc? Better finding a cheapish venue and using their grounds if possible, maybe agree to book so many rooms for accomodation.
