30k km per year does not seem too high, especially for a Diesel...

It all depends on the history if major parts have been replaced and there's history to prove it then it could be a good purchase, however if there's no history you could potentially be buying a money pit that someone wants rid of. At those kind of miles it's at a stage where the potential buyer market is tiny so that can work in your favour in you will get it cheap knowing your going to have to hold on to it as resale will be difficult down the line so focus on keeping it 3-5 years and driving until it's pretty worthless to get your monies worth.

It's the type of car that would have been bought to cover motorway mileage, so it wouldn't put me off at all (motorway driving is the least stressful on engine on other mechanical parts), provided there's full service history, it shouldn't be any problem.
If the dealer is willing to cover it for 12 months (and provided the dealer is serious) it would tend to indicate that the car is actually in good condition.
