So I was bought an iPhone 7 Plus for a present but only got a 32 gig and coming from an iPhone 6 Plus with 128gig I'm having storage issues.. Wondering is there a way around it or just put my photos and stuff on an external hard drive?? Problem is I would love to still be able to have access to them..

Was looking at My Cloud and wondering does anyone know can I access my photos stored on my My Cloud at home throug the app when I'm not connected to my wifi at home??

Also I know I could sell the phone for a larger storage one but again it's a present so not really a runner..

    Thanks

Sell it and get the higher capacity phone. Whoever gave it to you will neither know nor care.

Simplest solution is to buy extra iCloud storage and enable "Optimise iPhone storage" in Photo settings. This will store all your photos in iCloud and only download full quality versions to the phone as needed.

This assumes photos are taking up most of your storage.
