Have ewes out on rape for the next month or so, would they need mineral supplementation, is it low in any minerals?

    Thanks.

I used tracesure bolus this year, used small mayo healthcare bolus before that, didnt find mych difference between the two, hows ur lambs doing on the redstart? We had interval this year, lambs just didnt do as good as other years on it

    I used Mayo health care.
On it 4 weeks this Saturday weather has been ideal for them I have offered them .5kilo of ration in a creep feeder also as I want to stretch the crop.
I am putting 2 bags a day into feeder to 100 lambs and most days there's some left so they won't eat much more anyways.
Have about 50 to kill off it next Monday so will be interesting to see how they kill.
I have more lambs to go onto after these are killed.
All lambs were 40kg plus going onto it.

Yea you should be getting round 47 48 % killout with the half kilo of meal aswell, we had 20 acres of rape here but it didnt last long so had to start feeding lambs afterwards, we put in chicory along with the rape and grass so should be good feeding for ewes and lambs nxt spring

Anybody graze ewes on rape, will have them out until the middle of Jan, then they will be housed. Don't want ewes to become massive. Any tips/pointers appreciated.
