Removing heater from room altogether

    Recently moved into a new apartment and redecorating. Want to knock part of a stud wall in the main living area that has a storage heater attached, and rather than reattach it somewhere else, herself wants to remove it altogether. We've been here 2 wks and have not had the heating on at all other than to test it, and have not felt the cold at all.
    My questions are would the removal cause any issues if we were ever to sell in the future? Are there requirements around providing a heating source for each room?

    weather has been very kind in last while. Think I'd wait another while before deciding you need less heating in the apartment.

    It's quite rare where removing heating and not replacing it is the norm.

    Like most things like this it may only become an issue if you go to sell. If its a storage heater you could remove it but leave the electrical points in case you ever change your mind.
