    Hi

I have a boiler it says warmflow white 90 utility on it

Any one know what the kW is on it?

Have been looking online but can't find it, it's in the house since we bought it about 2 years ago.

The house was built in 2008.

Was thinking on changing it for a firebird blue supreme its 26kw at 97%.

Would this be a good move or not?

My house is a 2story 2600 sq feet and about 17 rads.
When I have one set on, there very hot but when I turn on all the rads can't get them very warm.

Would a better boiler help this?

Have a good plumber check the system out. Make sure your balancing valve at the cylinder is only open 1 turn. I'd go with a grant vortex 50/90 over a firebird any day

The one you have is 26kw. You need to do a heat loss calculation on your house using an online calc. I think it's big enough unless your house is badly insulated.

When was it last serviced ?

Had it serviced 2 years ago when we moved in. But it's always been like this. When there all on can't get them overly hot. Not like when half is on.

If the 2 are 26 kW there would be no difference in the 2 is that right? Would an other pump up in the hot press help better?

Or a grant 90/120 be better than the fire bird

get your system checked over by somebody in the know

could be something as simple as the lads have suggested above maybe even circulating pump not man enough

Add up the kw of your rads.
If your problem is caused by poor plumbing or poor circulation, a new boiler will not cure it.

Will need a good plumber to look at it.
For example, what is the difference between flow and return temperature at the boiler when all rads on?
Is the boiler constantly firing when all rads are on.
Can you isolate the cylinder when all rads on?

    The utility 90 = 90000 btu = 26 kw
This is the maximum output of your boiler. But it may not be set at 90000btu or 26kw.it could be set lower.
Are your rads double rads.i would be thinking that most of them are.if so your boiler is too small.
Simple test,With system cold and all zones open, how long does it take for the thermostat on the boiler to reach temperature and cut out the boiler?
Do the same test with only one zone on.
Best boiler would be a grant vortex or grant euroflame. For a house 2600 sq ft,in my opinion it has to be a 90/120kbtu = 35kw

the grant vortex is 92.6 upto 97 percent.the vortex is slightly a better boiler.Costs 100 euro more than euroflame
