Fitting a swirl pot/surge tank in the boot and the NCT

    Hey everyone,

So, I'm swapping a carb engine out for efi and I need to install a one as there's no pump in the tank so this is the route I've chosen. Now for the question, if I fit it into the boot (no under car space) do I need to seal off the boot? It's a saloon so there's a gaping hole behind the rear seats, I don't mind welding it up but if it's not needed then I won't.

    Thanks

Ps. I know I could just enclose the swirl pot too but I'd prefer not to do that
