From the 12th of December this is available for 90e. I've seen scopes for half that price in Lidl/Aldi before, is this worth the money? Thinking about a foray into the world of astronomy.

Grand for what it is. A respected market. 70mm is quite limited though. Bare minimum. Don't expect Hubble quality images. Good for the moon. Not wonderful for solar system. Pointless for deep sky.

A foray into the world of astronomy would be best started with Eyeball Mk.I, followed by a decent pair of 10x50 binos. Then a decent starter scope, once you know what you're interested in and are better placed to choose the right one.
