Woke up to no cold water in the kitchen, hot tap fine and both bathroom taps and toilets working.

Am I right in thinking these will only work until the tank empties so showering is not a good idea until cold water is running again? Thanks

You seem to have no mains water. Ring Irish Water. Doesn't matter if you have paid the bill or not. They will tell you if there is a problem in your area.

Correct. The mains is not filling the tank so you might run dry. Best not let anyone shower or bath till mains comes back. As for toilets if it's yellow let it mellow and if it's brown flush it down. :)

If it's mains then ask your neighbours if they have the same problem and ring Irish water .

If it's rural and on a private well then call a plumber .
