No pipe weld, can i

    Had no pipe weld and had to join some 1&1/2 pipe to a straight and a bend and used tech7. I'm wondering is this OK ?

    Tech 7 will seal but it won't hold if the pipe is under any stress or pressure. It won't weld the pipe to the fitting like waving cement would

    No, the tec7 will breakdown over time from the chemicals in the detergents.
    You need to use proper pipe solvent, itherwise it will leak.
