Ulster welcome back Henry and McCloskey to the starting XV and Ludik and Cave are back in the match day squad.

Cardiff have picked mostly Welsh players and the odd non Welsh player.

Ulster started the weekend one spot ahead of Cardiff in the table.

Cardiff lead 3-0 after 5 mins.

Ulster giving away too many penalties and also lack penetration when they have the ball.

Shaky starts from both sides, a good few knock-ons and penalties already.

good to see a ref not bother with warnings and just get the card out

    McCloskey has a top knot.

Joe is absolutely right not to pick him.

    Try Piutau.

Started with a lovely break from Pienaar

Pienaar running to the line there, almost looked like slow motion

Non existent exit strategy there from Ulster.

Works out OK in the end.

    Too easy for McCloskey!

Nice wee move between Pienaar, Marshall and Gilroy leading up to it.

    14-3 Ulster after 30 mins.

    Frustrating to concede there.

21-8 at half time to Ulster.

Tommy with a half hearted attempt at a tackle. His tackling since he came back has been very poor.

The more I see Cardiff play, the more sickening Munster's lost to them becomes :(

When you think that got the same in game sanction as Fekitoa the other week it would sicken you. I can see why it was a yellow nowadays but a couple of years ago I doubt it wouldn'thave been .

It was cynical. If he tackled him lower he risked pushing him over the line so he pulled him back with a high one.

No need, Cardiff to the rescue :D

The worrying thing is if we play like this against Clermont we'll be eaten alive.

We only have Best and Jackson to come back in, admittedly Jackson makes ano enormous difference.

I think Herron deserves more credit than he gets. His line kicking and passing are better than many would claim. He is a young guy finding his way. He's doing o.k.
