Laptop for non-IT 3rd Level student

Can you recommend a Laptop for a student they can use for writing up projects. researching etc. i.e. one they can use for study and not keep taking mine. It needs to orderable online or in-store. Recommnedations - €300 to €500.

We don't need MS as the Uni provides them with MS 365 while a student.
