It's a UK import so make sure to do proper background checks into the car's history. Those 2.2 diesel engines were not the most reliable either, some of them suffered from head gasket problems. Price seems a bit on the high side to me given it's nearly 7 years old, Avensis are cheap enough second hand in the UK and you will have more choice in automatics, so look into importing one yourself.

They do 1.8 petrol also, with T4 spec.

The 150 2.2 is considered more reliable than the 177 version.
At least I'm pretty sure the 150 came in 2.2 form.

Well if you don't have the use of a diesel then why bother with the potential problems associated with them.

Have you looked at a Lexus CT200H hybrid?

    Just an example:
