Echo Dot Bluetooth security?

According to this thread on a UK Facebook support site for Amazon Alexa, there's a security hole that allows a random speaker/phone to be linked via Bluetooth to your Dot, without permission. Apparently, Amazon have been informed and confirmed it  One poster has claimed that he is now connected to his neighbour's smart TV!

Anyone any confirmation of this? It seems that the worst that can happen is that the random 'pairing' can play music on the Dot. Sounds odd to me.

Thread has vanished off the FB page - must have been a hoax!

Edit: Nope - all posts still there, but it's a closed group and that's why the link won't work! Amazon Alexa Fans UK is the FB page.
