    I have seen these used in Roscommon.

    It's just fixed wireless with a satellite dish to help signal.

    If it is Roscommon the speeds are around 5mbps

    In Cork, that could be Ripplecom, Airwave or AHC Networks.

    Used in north Cork anyway by Ripplecom when the user is some distance from the mast and has weaker signal than others.
