Dundalk 6:00 - I will say it now and I will say it again, but you always have to pay close attention to Irish horses that have made the trip over to Meydan. To spend so much money on making the trip over to contest in such competitive racing is usually an indication on just how highly a horse is rated. Russian Soul is getting on a little at 8 years of age, but it was one that competed regularly at Meydan with some success over the years. Probably not at that sort of grade these days, it has been steadily dropping down to a decent handicap level, very often springing a win when the mark gets down low enough. Its most recent run last month was against horses better than what it faces today, and considering it ran a very creditable 3rd, I think it should be bang in there today. What attracts me today is that the horses ahead of it in the betting don't seem particularly proven. Aggression got the winner just two weeks ago over course and distance, but that affair was a weaker one than what it faces today. Swiss Cross has also seen some cash, but as a 9 year old who has only really have a mediocre career, I really am puzzled at why the market thinks that at this age it can go off and win a type of race that it has not won in 2.5 years. The Keatley runner could potentially be dangerous at this level, but I am not hugely concerned given the fact that it has bombed badly when raced at any sort of decent level. I could be proven wrong, but at 9/1, I am happy to take the experienced horse over any of these thanks to Bet Bright.

    Royal Roslea 16-1 9.00

It's last race was over this C&D when it led only to get headed and come 5th.
I think a difference approach can bring a different result tonight

    2pts win 16-1
